The Bowen Island Food Bank is small, not very well known, but helpful for many. It provides food for those not able to afford it or for anyone who could be in need. It has a difference from normal food banks though: it stays open 24/7, to make sure if anyone is in desperate need, they can always access food for themselves or others.
